What are your personal interests?

  • My priority is spending time with my partner, family, and golden retriever Queso. When I’m not watching UT sports, I’m normally grilling out or enjoying some sunlight on a patio.

What led you to bankruptcy?

  • Financial hardships don’t discriminate and can arrive at unpredictable times. When they do, the resulting impact can seem insurmountable. My undergraduate studies in the midst of the late-2000s financial crisis – specifically on subprime mortgages, default rates, and high interest lending – helped to confirm that in real time. I developed a strong passion for assisting those facing economic difficulties, and I sought to build a practice that fuels that passion and (most importantly) brings relief to people and businesses in my community. Bankruptcy law can be a highly effective tool in providing a much needed fresh start to those in need – especially those victimized by bad-faith creditor practices. It demands equity and fairness amongst both debtors and creditors, involves walking clients through multiple facets of their finances, and requires knowledge in multiple aspects of law – all of which I appreciate.
